Own Creation
| The most attractive glass objects created by Jiri Pacinek in his privat glass studio are mostly vases, bowls, animals and sculptures. All objects are either free hand-shaped or mouth-blown in different types of moulds. Hot glass is thus changing not only its shape, but also a colour - from almost white, through shiny yellow and orange into bright crystal clear glass. By adding of various metal oxides the crystal glass can achieve different colour shades - ruby red, amber brown, cobalt blue and many others. Before the glass object is born, it requires a lot of patience,glassmaster's skill and exact cooperation with his assistant. All these things help Jiri Pacinek to imprint a soul, invention and original character into his glass pieces... |
